Naturally efficient

StarchLite®, an inhibitor of alpha-amylase

StarchLite® decreases the Glycemic Index by temporarily inhibiting alpha-amylase, an enzyme present in saliva and also produced by the pancreas. It is responsible for the breakdown of starch into simple sugars that can be absorbed by the organism.

•    The caloric impact of sugars resulting from starch digestion is reduced
•    The glycemia increase is lowered, the GI of the consumed food decreases
•    The possibility of conversion of sugars coming from starch into fat is lessened
•    Weight gain is limited

StarchLite®, GI reduction and body mass reduction

6 clinical studies on 142 volunteers assessed StarchLite® safety and efficacy on weight loss.

StarchLite® significantly decreases body weight, fat mass, adipose tissue thickness, waist circumference, hip circumference and thigh circumference while preserving lean mass.

They all showed great improvements. All clinical trials were performed using a randomized, double-blind and placebo-controlled procedure.

In addition, these studies confirmed that StarchLite® is innocuous, that it does not produce side-effects or habituation.
